I’ve always loved space, the universe and astronomy in general. To me, it’s not about a science so much as a philosophy. It’s a bit like existentialism - Where are we, who are we and therefore what’s the point? It’s the biggest mystery we’ll ever face and one that’s directly related to theology and religion as much as it is to science and reason. Relatively speaking (excuse the pun) we still no nothing but somehow we’re all here, and there’s a whole bunch of stuff here with us and it had to have come from somewhere. It’s bloody amazing! I’d be a physicist in the blink of an eye is I was academically astute enough. Anyway, I post space themed things up here once in a while, but I’ve been looking at some things recently and so I’m going to post them altogether below. Ready? Good.

Idiots Guide To The Big Bang - Briefly
Nothing great here - Pretty simple stuff you’ve all heard before, apart from the very last bit explaining the multiverse / megaverse which I thought was a nice bit of infographics (even though not a jot of it is based on science).
Voyager Recap
I remember hearing about the Voyager projects when I was young. It’s cum-in-pants exciting. Golden records with greetings from world leaders sent out into space to be picked up by aliens? Fucking aye! Here’s a little bit about them if you haven’t heard of it all before.
Planet Sizes
Click on the image for a comparative size guide for everything in the solar system. Some interesting bits, such as how Mars is smaller than one of Jupiter’s moons.
The Tenth Dimension
Head hurts. But exceedingly interesting with enough annotations to link you to as much information as you could shake a stick at.
